St Johnstone vs Ross County lineups and latest team news
St Johnstone
St Johnstone narrowly avoided relegation last season and they look set for yet another relegation battle this time around. They are currently bottom of the table but their form has seen an improvement in recent weeks and they have only lost just one game in their last five league matches.
Much of their improvement is down to their defensive work, with Considine and Gordon hugely important at the back. Both men will be playing against Ross County, however, they are without three players due to injury – Alistair Crawford, Sam McClelland and Drey Wright.
Predicted lineup
Mitov – McGowan, Gordon, Considine, Robinson – Carey, Sprangler, Smith, Phillips – Kane, Clark
Ross County
Ross County survived relegation last season by the skin of their teeth and had to come through a playoff to retain their spot in Scotland's top tier. They are once again looking purely at survival for this season and will need a change in their fortunes if they are to achieve that goal.
Their form has nosedived in recent weeks with manager Malky Mackay chopping and changing his team in a bid to gather any kind of momentum. Mackay is without several players for this one, including Brown, Paton, Callachan and Reid.
Predicted lineup
Laidlaw – Harmon, Leak, Baldwin, Nightingale- Allardice, Randall, Loturi – Dhanda, White, Murray
Starting lineups
Official starting lineups will be released 60 minutes before kick-off.
