Rangers will look to continue their strong run of form under Derek McInnes when they welcome high-flying St Mirren to Ibrox on Wednesday night.
After taking five games to record his first win as Rangers boss, McInnes has seemingly started to find his feet, with the Gers heading into their sixth Scottish Premiership outing of the season on the back of three consecutive victories over Aberdeen, Falkirk and Motherwell.
As for the visitors, they have made an excellent start to the 2026-27 season and travel to Glasgow sitting one place above their upcoming opponents after recording three wins, one draw and one defeat, with that solitary loss coming against Celtic at the weekend.

After coming heartbreakingly close to winning the Scottish Premiership with Hearts last season, Derek McInnes left the capital and headed to Glasgow to become the new Rangers boss ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
His tenure could not have got off to a worse start, with the Gers following up a draw and defeat in the league by exiting the Europa League at the hands of Jagiellonia before finally tasting victory at the fifth attempt in the League Cup, securing a 5-1 win over their upcoming opponents.
More European heartbreak followed as Rangers failed to build on their first-leg lead and were knocked out of the Conference League on penalties by Jablonec before finally finding their feet in the league.
Wins over Aberdeen, Falkirk and Motherwell have lifted Rangers to fourth in the table, with McInnes' men now facing their toughest assignment so far against St Mirren.
As for St Mirren, they make their way from Paisley to Glasgow in fine form after making a surprisingly strong start to the season.
After coming close to relegation last season, when they overcame Partick Thistle in a relegation playoff in May, the Buddies have claimed 10 points from their opening five matches and have only lost to league leaders Celtic, against whom they took the lead before ultimately being unable to hold on.
Wins over Falkirk, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock, along with a draw against Motherwell, have lifted Craig McLeish's side to third in the table and provided clear signs of improvement after they came close to the drop last season.
While they will be keen to bounce back at the earliest opportunity, they will be wary of the fact that Rangers have already handed St Mirren a heavy defeat in the League Cup when they themselves were out of form.
