We're bringing you our FA Cup betting tips for Norwich's trip to Liverpool on Sunday. Earlier this month Liverpool still had odds against them winning the PL title but they are on a roll after reaching the Carabao Cup final, and are aiming for a first treble since 2001. The odds are stacked against Championship side Norwich this weekend as the Canaries haven't beaten Liverpool since 1993.

Liverpool vs Norwich prediction – Betting tips & odds

Hot Tip – Liverpool to Win-to-Nil

  • Liverpool have won each of their last seven encounters with Norwich.
  • Three of Liverpool's last five wins against Norwich have been accompanied by clean sheets.

Another reason that we have backed Liverpool to win to nil as our main prediction is that the hosts have kept three clean sheets in their last six matches, while Norwich failed to score in their last away game.

Liverpool vs Norwich team news

Liverpool

Liverpool made the trip to Arsenal in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup and claimed an excellent 2-0 victory. Arsenal were guilty of wasting a bunch of chances against the Merseysiders but an own goal with ten minutes left on the clock put Liverpool in front and Luis Diaz confirmed the win deep into stoppage-time.

Joel Matip, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago Alcantara, Mohamed Salah, Konstantinos Tsimikas, Dominik Szoboszlai, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Wataru Endo are all unavailable for Liverpool this weekend.

Predicted Lineup: Alisson (GK), Gomez, Bradley, Konaté, Quansah, Jones, Mac Allister, Elliott, Gakpo, Jota & Núñez

Norwich

Norwich were away at lower-league opposition in the last round of the FA Cup, beating Bristol Rovers 3-1 at the Memorial Stadium. The visitors fell behind in the twentieth minute but the Canaries dominated the second forty-five, equalising through Gabriel Sara before taking the lead just shy of the hour mark via an Adam Idah penalty. Kenny McLean added a third goal late on for the Championship side.

The experienced Danny Batth will miss the trip to Anfield this weekend due to a hamstring injury.

Predicted Lineup: Gunn (GK), Duffy, Gibson, Giannoulis, Stacey, McLean, Sara, Núñez, Sargent, Sainz & Rowe

Player to Watch: Diogo Jota

We're expecting Diogo Jota to start for Liverpool this weekend in the FA Cup as the Portuguese international was only a second-half substitute in the midweek win over Fulham in the League Cup.

Jota set up Luis Diaz for his goal against Arsenal in the 3rd Round and has found the back of the net seven times in fifteen Premier League appearances so far this season. Even with Mo Salah unavailable, Liverpool have so much attacking talent to call upon and we're backing Jota to impress against Norwich on Sunday.
