The 19-year-old forward is regarded as one of the most exciting attacking talents in Germany, having scored eight goals in 2. Bundesliga. Having signed Tzimas on loan from PAOK, Nurnberg want to capitalise on this hype and make a profit.
It is understood that the German outfit are planning to activate the £15 million buy option before selling him for around £21 million plus add-ons.
Suitability (3/5): New project for Slot
With his current talisman Mo Salah set to depart Anfield in the summer, Arne Slot faces the daunting task of reshaping his frontline. Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo have all yet to show they are capable of consistently delivering.
Tzimas is certainly too young to carry that burden but the Greek talent has immense potential. He is still a relatively raw talent too, so Slot has the freedom to mould him according to his tactical needs.

As mentioned earlier, Tzimas is relatively still too inexperienced as such it would be tough to compare him with any current Liverpool forward. But with Nunez attracting exit rumours, the Nurnberg prodigy could be brought to Anfield with an aim to become the side's first-choice number nine down the line.

Tzimas has landed on the radar of many clubs, including Chelsea, because of his exploits. However, under director Michael Edwards, Liverpool have a brilliant track record when it comes to picking the right players for their project.
Accordingly, if the Merseyside outfit are willing to place their trust in him, the young star should grab the great opportunity with both hands.
