According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are among five Premier League sides that have been ‘kept informed' of Vinicius Jr's situation, with Real Madrid telling him that he must sign a new contract or risk being put on the transfer list this summer.

Talks over a new deal were placed on hold earlier this year, with Vinicius Jr entering the final year of his contract.

Real are determined to keep him but only if his wages are appropriate for their structure, and have offered to increase them from £350,000-per-week to £400,000-per-week, which would make only Kylian Mbappe higher paid than Vinicius Jr in the squad.

The Brazilian's representatives want a salary closer to £500,000-per-week for him, which Real are currently unwilling to meet.

The Saudi Pro League want Vinicius Jr as their marquee signing and are prepared to double his wages, while Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool have been ‘kept informed' of his situation.

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC (via Sport Witness) report Tottenham are interested in signing Joaquin Oso.

The full-back has less than a year left on his contract at Sevilla, and a renewal has been put on hold as his agent's demands are too high.

If there is no movement with regards to a renewal, then Sevilla will make him available with a €10m (£8.5m) starting price.

As well as Spurs, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Villarreal, Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Fiorentina are all showing interest in Oso.

Man Utd target Orlando Gill

Argentine newspaper Clarin (via Sport Witness) report Manchester United's interest in Orlando Gill following his impressive performances for Paraguay in World Cup 2026.

The goalkeeper was named FIFA's Player of the Match against Germany and France, and his penalty shootout heroics helped Paraguay beat the former before losing 1-0 to the latter in the round of 16.

Ipswich Town and Aston Villa are also following Gill's situation, while Lazio and Torino are also admirers.

When asked about the growing transfer rumours surrounding him, Gill said:

“I can’t say yes or no. They told me there is interest, but not a formal offer.

“I don’t want to get carried away. We’ll sit down and speak with the club to see what is best.”

Gill also admitted that his contract at San Lorenzo contains a release clause:

“I have a clause in my contract and I think it has to be respected. Then it depends on the club. If it’s good for both parties, we’ll have to reach an agreement.”

The release clause is thought to be around €6m (£5.2m), which is affordable for Man Utd and other Premier League clubs.
