Manchester City are preparing to let Mateo Kovacic leave at the end of the season.

The Citizens earned an impressive league victory against Liverpool on Sunday, demonstrating great resilience despite the club being found guilty of breaching financial rules.

Punishments could be as severe as expulsion from the top flight, and it would not be surprising if many players left the club in the event of harsh sanctions.

It is reported that midfielder Kovacic could leave regardless of the club's status in the Premier League.

The 32-year-old's contract is set to expire in the summer, and there are no suggestions that City plan on offering him an extension.

Arsenal are in a race with Chelsea and Liverpool for Roma teenager Emmanuel Lulli.

The Gunners will returned to winning ways on the weekend against Leeds United, and Mikel Arteta will be thankful that neither Ben White nor Jurrien Timber suffered injuries.

Both right-backs have struggled with fitness this season, and their issues perhaps explain why the Londoners have been linked to Roma wing-back Lulli by TEAMtalk.

The 19-year-old has started four times for Roma this season in the Italian top flight, and he has shown immense energy down the right flank.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Dominic Solanke is determined to fight for his place at the club despite criticism.

Spurs earned their third point of the campaign on Saturday, drawing 1-1 with Manchester United thanks to Solanke's equaliser.

The forward has struggled at the Londoners, scoring just 13 Premier League goals in 48 top-flight games.

However, a new report reveals that the Englishman wants to stay at the club despite Tottenham intending to sign a striker in January.
