The continued uncertainty surrounding the future of Ibrahima Konate at Liverpool looks set to rumble on until the end of the season, but that won't stop the Reds from planning for next season.
Reports now suggest the Merseyside outfit are to battle their upcoming Champions League quarter-final opponent, Paris Saint-Germain, for the signature of Juventus defender Gleison Bremer.
It's believed that the Brazil centre-back has a release clause set at around £46 million, but it can only be activated between July 1st and August 10th, meaning both teams will need to make a decision in the coming weeks.
The 29-year-old has attracted interest from right across the Premier League, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United also keen, though it appears Liverpool and PSG are the two most likely destinations.

Despite securing the big-money arrival of Viktor Gyokeres last summer, it seems like Arsenal are still in the market for attacking reinforcements.
With the future of Gabriel Jesus up in the air and the Swede not yet living up to his price tag, the Gunners are “monitoring” young Bayer Leverkusen forward Christian Kofane ahead of the summer transfer window.
That's according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, who claims the 19-year-old striker is attracting interest from Real Madrid, as well as several English clubs, like Arsenal.
It's also claimed that the Bundesliga side are “demanding” around £60 million for the Cameroon international.

Defensive reinforcements appear to be the priority for many top-flight teams this summer, and that's no different at Chelsea, who are said to be among the clubs interested in signing Jules Kounde.
Reports in Spain suggest the Blues, alongside Liverpool and Manchester City, are keeping a close eye on his situation at Barcelona.
The 27-year-old can play at right-back and through the middle, making him an attractive and versatile option for the trio of Premier League teams.
Currently valued at around £55 million, it's believed that it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that Kounde departs the Camp Nou this summer.
