A world class player in his position, or indeed any position, beating Real and Man Utd to the signing of Davies would be a huge coup for the Reds.
He has no Premier League experience, but his elite defensive work coupled with his ability going forward will be ideal in Arne Slot's back four.

Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have been mainstays at full-back for a number of years at Anfield, but the duo are unlikely to be first-choice much longer.
