Luis Guilherme plans involve leaving the London club to seek minutes and there are interested parties in major football centres.
Luis Guilherme swapped Palmeiras for West Ham for €23m (£19.5m) in July last year. Little more than a year later, the player's plan at this moment is to leave the London club, as revealed by Trivela.
The report heard from sources close to the player that there are European interested parties in the 19-year-old. The winger's career planning involves seeking another club to gain playing time. At the Hammers, there were just 16 matches, an average of 12 minutes per match.
Luis Guilherme's future may be away from West Ham
In the current season, Luis has only played three Premier League matches which, combined, amount to little more than a full half (54 minutes). West Ham's situation on and off the pitch has been complicated since he arrived.
There have been three managerial changes in the period, besides the director who travelled to Brazil to sign him, Tim Steidten, having left the club in January. More than that, the competition is heavy: the starter on the right wing, Jarrod Bowen, is team captain and England international.

Luis Guilherme's entourage understand that he should not have major opportunities given the club's current situation. The idea, therefore, is to work on possibilities in the market for the next transfer windows. A departure as early as the European winter window in January is not ruled out. If this does not happen, the plan is for him to secure a new club at the end of the season in July 2026.
On the other hand, there is no movement for the former Palmeiras player to return to Brazil. People close to the player revealed to the report that there are European clubs interested in the striker and that Luis still has a market in good tiers in the Old Continent.
Why return to Brazil is not in the plans
During the last window, at the start of the season, teams such as Porto and Feyenoord made proposals for the player. His staff, however, decided to decline the possibilities to try to secure space at West Ham.
Some cases similar to Luis Guilherme's have occurred recently: young Brazilian talents who left their clubs very young, did not have immediate space and returned to Brazil. David Washington and Matheus Franca are examples.
The former Santos player was signed by Chelsea in 2023 and had no space. He ended up returning to Santos this year on loan, but there were 17 matches in the Brasileirao without great prominence and he returned to the Blues – and continues without being used.
Matheus Franca also left Flamengo in 2023. He did not receive many opportunities, suffered with injuries and is now on loan at Vasco. There are 12 matches for the club so far and no goal involvement.
Luis Guilherme's entourage understand that returning to Brazil at this moment is not worthwhile, mainly because of the pressure the youngster would suffer on his return – which would slow his development.
As discovered by Trivela, the striker was approached by several Brazilian clubs in recent months, including Botafogo, but all possibilities were rejected. Luis should leave West Ham in the coming windows, but for European clubs.
