Man Utd are the latest team to join the race to sign impressive Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo ahead of the summer transfer window.

That's according to the i Paper, who claim the 23-year-old is one of multiple defenders on their shortlist, with the Red Devils seeking more reliable options.

Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt have often been plagued by injury, while the future of Harry Maguire is at this stage uncertain.

The likes of Liverpool and Chelsea are also keen on Murillo, and it's thought that he could cost in excess of £65 million, considering he remains under contract at the City Ground until 2029.

Arsenal consider bid for Newcastle defender Tino Livramento

In perhaps a surprise move, Arsenal have been linked with interest in versatile Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento.

It's claimed that the Gunners are considering a bid for the 23-year-old, who is yet to show willingness to extend his contract past its current expiry date in 2028.

Title rivals Manchester City have also been pursuing the England international over the past few months, while it is believed that the Magpies would set an asking price in the region of £60 million.

Arsenal appear to be well-stocked in full-back areas, so it remains to be seen whether they will actually launch a move for Livramento this summer.

West Ham's summer transfer plans could hinge on whether they secure Premier League survival this season, and one deal looks to be atop their priorities.

According to reports, the Hammers would like to make the loan signing of Axel Disasi from Chelsea a permanent one, as they have been impressed by the 28-year-old since he joined on deadline day during the January window.

However, it is thought that the East London side are not prepared to fork out a similar fee to what the Blues paid when signing him for £38.8 million back in 2023.

Disasi is said to have been influential behind the scenes at the club and has started in all Premier League games under West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo, so no wonder they want to retain his signature next term.
