Tottenham Hotspur are closely following the development of AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara as the January transfer window approaches.

According to TBR Football, the north London club have been impressed by the 21-year-old’s recent performances and versatility. Spurs have reportedly sent scouts to observe the Senegal international in person and are considering a formal offer during the winter window.

An opening bid in the region of €25m (approximately £21.5m) is believed to be under consideration.

Monaco determined to hold on to midfield talent

Camara remains a key figure in Monaco’s plans and is under contract until 2029. The Ligue 1 side are aware of the midfielder’s rising profile and may view any initial approach from Tottenham as falling short of their valuation.

With interest in the player expected to grow in the coming months, Monaco could seek to spark a bidding war to drive up the price. Spurs may therefore face competition from other European clubs should they wish to secure Camara’s services in January.
