Summer transfer window 2025: Five deals that could go through this week

1. Joao Pedro (Brighton to Chelsea) – £50m

Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with fellow Premier League rivals Brighton to sign Joao Pedro for a transfer fee in excess of £50m. Personal terms are in place for the Brazilian to sign a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

A medical is being arranged for Pedro, who only wanted to join the Blues out of the reported clubs interested in signing him. The forward is set to join the Blues' CWC squad.

2. Malik Tillman (Bayern Munich to Bayer Leverkusen) – £34.3m

Malik Tillman is set to sign for Bayer Leverkusen from Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich. There is reportedly a verbal agreement in place between all parties involved.

The transfer fee is thought to be around £34.3m as a total package, and Tillman has agreed on a long-term deal. Bayern are also thought to have agreed on a buy-back clause in his contract.

3. Theo Hernandez (AC Milan to Al Hilal) – £30m

Al Hilal are reportedly confident that they will get the green light to sign AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez after recent positive contacts. The Saudi Pro League club ideally want a deal wrapped up by the end of this week.

Hernandez is thought to cost them around £30m in total including add-ons. The France international was close to signing for Al Hilal during the first mini transfer window, but the deal collapsed.

4. Tammy Abraham (Roma to Besiktas) – £17.1m

Besiktas have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Roma to sign Tammy Abraham. The transfer fee is thought to be around £17.1m, and the English striker has accepted the move.

Paperwork is now set to be finalised between the two clubs, as Abraham prepares to fly to Turkey. The former Chelsea forward was on loan at AC Milan from Roma in the 2024/25 campaign.

5. Sverre Nypan (Rosenborg to Manchester City) – £12.5m

Having already made a number of signings in the mini-window before the CWC started, Manchester City now look set to add another player to their ranks in Sverre Nypan. The Cityzens will pay Rosenborg £12.5m for his signature.

The highly-rated Norwegian teenager is expected to sign a deal at the Etihad Stadium until 2030. Personal terms are still being finalised, but this transfer could go through by the end of the week.
