Metz - PSG
France Ligue 1 - Stade Saint Symphorien

While Metz are all but booked into the relegation play-offs, if they are hammered by PSG and Lorient put a few goals past Clermont, they could drop down into the bottom two and automatically be relegated into Ligue 2.

Key stats
- Metz are winless in their last three games
- PSG are unbeaten away from home in Ligue 1 this season
- Les Parisiens have scored in all but two away games
Pre-game odds and win probability: Metz not handed a chance
- Home: 4/1 (5.0) – 20%
- Draw: 18/5 (4.6) – 21.7%
- Away: 4/7 (1.57) – 63.6%
This should be just another routine victory for PSG as they look to keep confidence high heading into their cup final next week, however, Metz will prove to be tough hosts who know their task at hand will be very difficult.
Given how favoured PSG are by the bookmakers we believe punting on a straight outright winner would be rather pointless. We suggest checking out our free betting tips page where you could take some inspiration for your punts, with the -2 handicap for PSG to win looking very inviting.
Last five H2Hs: PSG have utterly dominated this fixture
It should come as no surprise that PSG have won all of the last five games against Metz because of the calibre of players they have at their disposal. Les Parisiens have scored eight and conceded just one goal in their last two meetings, and this one could follow a similar path.

Metz preview: Defence must be perfect
Metz have a big enough cushion to Lorient who are second bottom, but coming up against the league's top scorers in PSG will be a daunting task. Les Grenats will be relying on their home crowd to get behind them and help cause an upset.
Predicted lineup: Oukidja (GK) – Cande, Sane, Traore, Colin – Diallo, N'Doram, Jean Jacques, Lo, Sabaly – Mikautadze

PSG preview: Confidence must remain high
Despite their ludicrous riches and star-studded players, PSG have only won one of their last five games across all competitions, so they will be looking to put a marker down this weekend. Luis Enrique's men have a cup final next week and will be looking to head into that with confidence high.
Predicted lineup: Navas (GK) – Beraldo, Pereira, Skriniar, Zague – Vitinha, Ugarte, Mbappe – Kolo Muani, Ramos, Lee

Player to watch: Goncalo Ramos
This season has been one of settling in and understanding the system at PSG for Ramos as he's just on loan. However, he will have to step up next season when he joins permanently and Kylian Mbappe departs.
Time to step up and deliver
With PSG's main man, Mbappe, set to be rested once again as this is a dead rubber away game, Ramos has the chance to stake a claim for why he should be their number one option through the middle next season. The Portuguese striker has six goal involvements in his last seven appearances in Ligue 1, so he's not shy of getting involved when it matters.
