- Newcastle have won three of their last four matches in all competitions.
- Over 2.5 goals have been scored in five of Newcastle's last six matches.

Newcastle vs Luton team news
Newcastle
Newcastle put in an excellent performance at Villa Park in midweek, coming away with a 3-1 victory. Swiss defender Fabian Schar scored twice in the space of four minutes to hand Newcastle a 2-0 lead at the interval. An own goal from Alex Moreno early in the second forty-five made it 3-0 and even though Villa pulled a goal back, the visitors held on to claim a fantastic away win.
Joelinton, Nick Pope, Matt Targett, Elliot Anderson, Joseph Willock, Harvey Barnes, Callum Wilson, Jamaal Lascelles and Alexander Isak are all injury concerns for the hosts this weekend.
Predicted Lineup: Dúbravka (GK), Trippier, Schär, Burn, Botman, Murphy, Guimarães, Longstaff, Miley, Almirón & Gordon
Luton
Luton put in their best performance of the season to thrash Brighton 4-0 at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night. Goals inside the opening three minutes from Elijah Adebayo and Chiedozie Ogbene saw Luton take a shock lead and Adebayo scored his second goal of the game just before halftime. The next goal was always going to prove crucial in this game and Luton got it in the fifty-sixth minute when Adebayo completed his hat trick and secured a brilliant victory for the Hatters.
Marvelous Nakamba, Mads Andersen and Jacob Brown could all miss the trip to St James' Park through injury.
Predicted Lineup: Kaminski (GK), Bell, Burke, Osho, Barkley, Clark, Sambi Lokonga, Doughty, Morris, Ogbene & Adebayo

Player to Watch: Anthony Gordon
With Wilson and Isak possibly missing this weekend, much of the attacking onus will fall on the shoulders of Anthony Gordon when Newcastle take on Luton.
Gordon has scored seven goals in the Premier League so far this season as well as chipping in with five assists making him one of Eddie Howe's key attacking players. Gordon has an eye for goal and Newcastle are going to need him to play a more advanced role this weekend if Isak and Wilson both fail late fitness tests, so we're backing the 24-year-old as our player to watch in this game.
