🔥 Our Hot tip

Fernandez to score or assist

Fernandez has 14 goal contributions in the league this season, his best return.

Both Sunderland and Chelsea still have a chance of qualifying for Europe as they meet at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Black Cats are outside of the European places, and only a win could see them leapfrog Chelsea and into the top eight.

The Blues occupy eighth place, which would get them Conference League football, but they could finish as high as seventh which would yield a place in the Europa League.

Sunderland have enjoyed an incredible season under Regis Le Bris, as they were many pundits' favourites to go straight back down to the Championship after being promoted via the play-offs.

The Black Cats have defied expectations after a strong summer of recruitment, and even have a chance of making Europe heading into the final day.

With home advantage on their side, they will believe that anything is possible, and the atmosphere is sure to be electric as a win would also guarantee that they finish above North East rivals Newcastle United.

However, they will have to do so without Chemsdine Talbi, who picked up an injury in training, while Omar Alderete may also struggle to recover in time.

As for Chelsea, things have gone downhill since the departure of Enzo Maresca, who is now reportedly set to replace Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

Liam Rosenior was Marseca's successor, but after a poor run of results, he was dismissed and replaced by interim Calum McFarlane.

Xabi Alonso will eventually take over next season, but Chelsea will at least want to give him some form of European football to work with, after losing the FA Cup final to Man City.

The Blues may be boosted by the possible returns of Joao Pedro, Reece James and Levi Colwill, who have all be in training.

Whispers predicts: Sunderland 1-1 Chelsea

Chelsea are 21/20 favourites to win, but given Sunderland have home advantage, and a win would see them leapfrog the Blues, we are willing to back against the visitors.

Double chance – Sunderland/Draw at 11/13 is our first pick, while Under 2.5 goals at 11/10 could also come through given both teams have only scored a combined 12 goals between them over their last five games in all competitions.

Our final pick focuses on Enzo Fernandez, who scored and assisted against Tottenham in Chelsea's 2-1 home win last time out.

Fernandez to score or assist at 17/10 is therefore our final punt, while our 1-1 prediction is available at 7/1.
