Liverpool have identified Yan Diomande as their top priority to replace Mohamed Salah this summer.
The Egyptian icon will leave Anfield on a free transfer at the end of the season after nine years on Merseyside, and Liverpool's hierarchy have unanimously backed the move for Diomande as the long-term successor on the right wing. Arne Slot's side have already opened talks with Diomande's representatives and are willing to meet RB Leipzig's €100m (£85m) asking price.
Paris Saint-Germain eye Yan Diomande
According to Spanish daily Sport, Paris Saint-Germain also have Diomande as one of their priority targets. To land him, the club know they will need to splash out at least €100m (£85m) to secure the player. That is because he is also being eyed by clubs in England. Recently, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool opened talks for the player and were informed of the asking price.
According to Sky Germany journalist Philipp Hinze, the price RB Leipzig are demanding is at least €100m (£85m) for the player. The Germans' idea is to make the Ivorian the club's record sale. Aware of those figures, Paris Saint-Germain believe that to make the deal viable, they will have to sell a player or, in the worst-case scenario, up to two. As a result, a number of names are already being touted to leave.

Players unlikely to stay at Paris Saint-Germain
One of the players on Paris Saint-Germain's transfer list is Goncalo Ramos. The Portuguese forward has lost the trust of boss Luis Enrique and has not been afforded many opportunities. The manager has even opted to deploy Ousmane Dembele centrally, with freedom of movement, alongside Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue, without using a recognised number nine — a role that could have gone to Ramos.
That said, the price tag Paris Saint-Germain are putting on the player could prove an obstacle to his departure. The French side shelled out €65m (£55m) plus €15m (£13m) in add-ons to Benfica in 2023 to land the forward, and are looking to recoup part of their investment.
Should there be a need to sell another player, Paris Saint-Germain could negotiate the departure of Bradley Barcola. The French winger had previously been linked with Premier League clubs in 2025, but ultimately stayed at the club. Now, in 2026, the situation has shifted, and the player could be impacted in the event of a possible transfer for Diomande. According to the report, Barcola is already on the lookout for a new club for next season.
The shake-up in the Parisian forward line could see further fringe players follow the same path, with Luis Enrique's preferred attacking trio leaving little room for those outside his core unit. Should the deal for Diomande progress, Paris Saint-Germain's hierarchy will need to fine-tune their summer trading carefully to balance the books and meet the asking price set in Saxony.
