Lamine Camara is enjoying a sensational season with AS Monaco, leading to many considering him the best prospect to come out of Senegal since Sadio Mane. This has sparked the interest of Liverpool.

That is according to TBR Football, which adds that the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and clubs in Germany and Spain are all monitoring the 21-year-old's development.

Value (2.5/5): Monaco adopting a tough stance

The Principality outfit only signed Camara from Metz last summer in a deal worth £12.5million. At this point, they have no desire to part ways with their midfielder but their stance could change if they receive sizeable bids for the Senegalese.

Camara has drawn comparisons to Mane because of their shared nationality and his immense potential to become the next superstar of Senegal. However, his style of play is similar to N'Golo Kante's, as he is known for covering every inch of grass if needed. Apart from his work rate, his technical ability is also impressive.

Capable of playing as a defensive midfielder as well as a box-to-box difference-maker, Camara could give a good run for minutes to both Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister. An excellent potential option for the Reds to take Arne Slot's midfield to the next level.
