Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to extend their winning run to four matches when they travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United in the Premier League‘s early kick-off on Saturday.

Roberto De Zerbi's side have responded impressively after a slow start to the season, beating Coventry City, Chelsea and Crystal Palace in succession. Leeds, meanwhile, are without a win in five matches after losing 2-0 to AFC Bournemouth last weekend.

With Spurs beginning to find their attacking rhythm, Mathys Tel looks an appealing option in the player markets after making an increasingly important contribution to their recent upturn in form.

Tel has been one of the more influential players in Tottenham's recent performances, scoring against Chelsea before producing four key passes in the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

The Frenchman offers a threat both as a goalscorer and a creator, which makes the score-or-assist market particularly attractive.

Since the start of the season, Tel has averaged 2.65 shots per 90 minutes, the third-highest figure in the Tottenham squad. That could prove important against a Leeds side that allows 5.7% more shots than the Premier League average.

However, his contribution is not limited to shooting. Tel has also created an average of 1.62 shots per 90 minutes for his teammates, registering six chances created across his last two appearances alone.

That combination of direct attacking threat and creativity makes him a strong candidate to get involved if Tottenham find the net at Elland Road.

There is some historical encouragement for goals, too, with 14 of the last 20 meetings between these sides seeing both teams score. However, Spurs have kept clean sheets in their last two matches, while Leeds have struggled to find the net, going three-and-a-half hours without a goal.

Tottenham's recent defensive improvement makes them difficult to oppose, and if De Zerbi's side maintain their momentum, Tel could be central to another positive result.

Spurs have won their last three matches and appear to be building momentum under De Zerbi. Tel has been an important part of that improvement, making this combination an attractive way to back another Tottenham victory.
