Manchester City travel to RB Leipzig on Wednesday, looking to build on their impressive 5-1 victory over AEK Athens in their previous Champions League outing.
The Bundesliga outfit have endured a difficult start to the league phase, suffering two 4-1 defeats in their opening three matches.
With both sides boasting considerable attacking quality but showing defensive vulnerabilities, the goals markets look particularly appealing at the Red Bull Arena.
Erling Haaland has already scored four times in two Champions League appearances, while his international teammate Antonio Nusa has been one of the standout performers in Germany this season.
There are plenty of reasons to expect an entertaining encounter.
RB Leipzig vs Man City: Back the goals to flow

Leipzig have scored exactly once in each of their opening three European fixtures, but their defensive record makes for less encouraging reading. They have conceded four goals against both Como and Real Madrid, with PSV the only side they have beaten so far.
City have also shown that they are not entirely watertight at the back, keeping just one clean sheet in their first three Champions League matches. However, Enzo Maresca's side have been far more convincing going forward, scoring nine goals across those fixtures.
The wider numbers make an even stronger case for goals. Leipzig's matches have averaged 4.08 goals per game across 13 outings in all competitions this season, while City's 15 matches under Maresca have produced an average of 3.73 goals.
Haaland will also be eager to respond after drawing a blank in City's 1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend. The Norwegian has nine goals in nine Premier League appearances and four in two Champions League outings, making him an obvious threat against a Leipzig defence that has already conceded eight times in Europe.
The hosts also have an attacking weapon of their own in Nusa. The fellow Norwegian has registered 12 goal contributions in 13 appearances this season, averaging a goal or assist every 83 minutes.
With both sides capable of causing damage in the final third, but neither particularly convincing defensively, backing goals at different price points makes the most sense.
RB Leipzig vs Man City best bets
Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score – 4/6 (1.67) with Betway
Two of Leipzig's opening three Champions League matches have featured at least four goals, while City have scored nine times in their first three European outings. Both teams also have enough attacking quality to find the net.
Over 3.5 goals – 10/11 (1.91) with bet365 and William Hill
Leipzig's matches are averaging 4.08 goals this season, with City's fixtures not far behind at 3.73. Given the defensive issues on both sides, four goals looks a realistic target.
Over 4.5 goals – 2/1 (3.00) with Betfair, Paddy Power and Sky Bet
This is the more adventurous option, but there is a case for expecting another high-scoring European night. Leipzig have already conceded four twice in the league phase, while City demonstrated their attacking potential by putting five past AEK Athens last time out.
