Bayern Munich are currently leading the race to sign Nicolas Jackson, according to several reports in England and Germany today.
The Bundesliga champions have reportedly agreed personal terms with the Chelsea striker and are now locked in talks with the Blues to agree a fee.
Reports earlier in the week indicated that Bayern Munich were more interested in signing Jackson on a loan deal, but they appear to have had a change of heart and are now committed to signing him on a permanent deal.
Jackson's position at Chelsea had become redundant earlier in the summer after the London club spent big money on Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. If the 24-year-old does move to Bavaria, he will act as the understudy to Harry Kane.
Borussia Dortmund close in on Fabio Silva
Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of wrapping up a deal to sign Fabio Silva from Wolves for €25m.
The 23-year-old, who has failed to make a name for himself at the English club, is now set to fly over to Germany to complete a medical with the Bundesliga club.
Assuming that all goes to plan, the sale of Silva is only likely to make it more difficult for Jorgen Stand Larsen to move to St James' Park. The Norwegian striker was the subject of a £55m bid from Newcastle United earlier in the week and is reportedly keen on the move.
According to Sky Sports, Newcastle are set to come back in with a £60m bid for Strand Larsen, but with Silva now out of the equation, Wolves would be left scrambling to sign replacements.

Crystal Palace are reportedly locked in talks with Arsenal about the potential signing of Reiss Nelson.
According to well-connected journalist Charlie Wyett, Crystal Palace feel that a deal could be agreed for around £15m. Relations between the two clubs are likely positive after the swift nature in which Arsenal's move for Eberechi Eze was completed earlier in the month.
