The transfer window may soon bring developments regarding Nicolas Jackson. The 24-year-old striker, currently with Chelsea, has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Bayern Munich, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The next step is for both clubs to negotiate a deal, but the London side have made their stance clear: they will only accept a permanent transfer or a loan with a mandatory purchase clause.
Despite Bayern’s interest, the German outfit are not alone in pursuing the Senegal international. The player’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, confirmed that several clubs from different leagues are monitoring the situation, with a decision expected shortly.

Agent comments on Jackson's post-Chelsea plans
Kamara discussed his client's future in an interview with French outlet Foot Mercato, acknowledging that a move away from Stamford Bridge is imminent.
“There were 30 goals in two seasons, without a single penalty. Highs and lows… but a chapter is closing in the Blues. Always grateful for the past, but already looking to tomorrow, with optimism,” he said.
He went on to confirm that options are being considered in multiple countries and that a deal could be reached soon. “Germany, Italy, England: there are many options, the decision is imminent. Thank you for the support, we see your messages… Nicolas Jackson, transfer expected in 48 hours, God willing.”

Bayern refuse to rule out signing
Speculation intensified following comments from Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Christoph Freund, during a press conference on Tuesday (26 August). While stopping short of confirming negotiations, Freund hinted that Bayern are actively exploring their options.
“I am not denying anything. There are many names being considered. The transfer window is still open until Monday, so anything can still happen,” he stated.
Jackson falling down the pecking order
With the window entering its final stretch, Jackson’s departure appears increasingly likely. The forward enjoyed a respectable 2024-25 campaign at Stamford Bridge, but the arrivals of Liam Delap and João Pedro have pushed him down Enzo Maresca’s hierarchy.
Jackson made 37 appearances, scored 13 goals, and provided six assists last season. He also featured regularly for the Senegal national team. However, João Pedro has already made a notable impact at the Club World Cup and quickly earned favour with supporters.
The former Villarreal striker is under contract with Chelsea until 2033.
