All of the Football Manager 24 new features that have been announced will change the way you play the most iconic football management game in existence.
Sports Interactive has unveiled a lot of new exciting features that are set to make FM 24 even deeper and more realistic. The game is out on November 6th, and it is safe to say that the excitement is bigger than ever.

At last! A Football Manager save carry over
It is safe to say that this has been one of the biggest requests from the community for years, and it is finally happening. You will be able to bring your FM23 career into FM24 and it is planned that this will be the case for all upcoming yearly Football Manager games.
FM 24 squad building: Smarter transfers
The teams at Sports Interactive made huge improvements on the way the opposition works on the transfer market, making the purchases and sales of your rivals more educated and more efficient. Be ready for tough transfer battles and facing stronger rosters in your careers.
On top of that, the inclusion of players from the youth teams is now stronger than ever and it will be interesting to see how your rivals' youngest players will shine sooner than ever.
Improved finances
For the first time, you will also be able to overspend your transfer budget – a bit like Chelsea! But be careful: with great power comes great responsibility, and if you are unable to sell a few players to cover your purchases, the board will take matters into their own hands and start selling players until the transfer budget is green.

On top of the board, you will also have to respect the rules of both the Financial Fair Play and nation-specific financial rules, meaning that your club could be sanctioned if you do not handle your finances properly. The sanctions are quite realistic: fines, squad size and transfer spending restrictions.
The game will also bring evolving income streams such as fluctuating TV rights that could turn the table for a league that is starting to be more interesting. This is a game-changer for players that love to play careers in unusual leagues, since they are now able to improve not only their club but the league (and overall competition) as a whole.
Agents are more powerful than ever
In order to fit the reality of the current transfer market, it is now possible to integrate agents in your strategy, would it be to buy a player or sell a player. You can now “Ask (your) agent about market interest” in order to understand if a player is willing to leave your club. But be careful, as asking such questions could also bring you a lot of problems and unhappy players within your locker room.
If the player is willing to move, you can ask the agent to start negotiations with other clubs. It makes it easier to offload players from your rosters.
On top of players' agents, you can now contact intermediaries: these are brokers that will generate new interest in a player. Of course, this service is not for free and a percentage of the fee will be taken by this intermediary. The cut varies according to the reputation (scope) of your agent, his/her ability to trigger interest quickly and the deal valuation they are able to reach.
Finally, the inclusion of the TransferRoom service will be a major step towards more authenticity. TransferRoom is an online marketplace that provides key decision-makers at more than 700 football clubs with the real-time transfer market intelligence and an unrivalled network of global connections. As a manager, you will now be able to inform other clubs that players are for sale through that platform – a very good way to spread the word that you are willing to sell a player.
FM 24 release date and other info
The 20th and most complete edition to date, Football Manager 2024, is out November 6th on PC, Xbox and PS5. Pre-purchase it before November 6th to enjoy 10% off and unlock Early Access (around two weeks before global release). Football Manager 2024 will be available on Nintendo Switch & Mobiles later this year.
