Predictions for the Conference League Final between Fiorentina vs West Ham
Here are our Conference League predictions for Wednesday's final between Fiorentina and West Ham live from the Fortuna Arena in Prague. Fiorentina and West Ham have never played one another before and both teams have waited a long time since their last European trophy in the 1960s. We're expecting a close final, one that could go either way and may well go the distance and end up being decided via a penalty shoot-out.

Draw
Our first Fiorentina vs West Ham prediction regards the full-time result. Both of these teams have done very well to make it through to the Conference League final and it's hard to choose a winner out of the two clubs. Both teams have been in mixed form heading into the final with Fiorentina losing two, winning four and drawing one of their last seven matches, while West Ham have won four and lost three of their last seven outings. Neither side have much experience of being in European finals and haven;t claimed a European trophy since the 1960s which is why we are expecting a tight and tense opening 90-minutes on Wednesday.
Both Teams to Score
Our second Fiorentina vs West Ham prediction delves into the Both Teams to Score market. While we expect a close game, that doesn't mean we think the game will be shy on goals. Both teams have scored in six of Fiorentina's last seven fixtures as well as in three of West Ham's last five outings, so you can see why we're backing goals at both ends of the pitch in Wednesday's Conference League final.

Fiorentina vs West Ham Lineups and Last Match
Fiorentina
Fiorentina needed extra-time to defeat Basel over two legs and make it through to Wednesday's Conference League final. After losing 2-1 in their own backyard, the Itaialian had it all to do in Switzerland. Gonzalez fired Fiorentina in front after 35-minutes but Basel equalised 10-minutes into the second forty-five. Another goal from Gonzalez saw the game go into extra-time. There was a lot of stoppage-time in extra-time and just when the game appeared to be heading for a penalty shoot-out, Barak scored a dramatic winning goal for Fiorentina. Salvatore Sirigu is the main injury concern for the Italians ahead of the final.
Predicted Lineup – Terracciano (GK), Biraghi, Dodô, Igor, Milenković, Bonaventura, Brekalo, Amrabat, Castrovilli, Cabral & González
West Ham
West Ham's route through to the final was a little more comfortable than Fiorentina's. After winning 2-1 at home against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, David Moyes' side secured a 1-0 away win thanks to a late goal from Fornals that saw the aggregate scoreline end 3-1 in the Premier League side's favour. Gianluca Scamacca looks set to miss the game against a team he knows well from his time in Italy, due to a knee injury that saw the Italian international miss the end of the Premier League season.
Predicted Lineup – Aréola (GK), Cresswell, Zouma, Kehrer, Aguerd, Souček, Rice, Paquetá, Antonio, Benrahma & Bowen

West Ham Player to Watch: Declan Rice
On what looks set to be his final game in a West Ham shirt, Declan Rice is our player to watch in the Conference League final.
The Hammers fans are really going to miss one of their own should Rice make a move to Man Utd or Chelsea as the rumours suggest this summer. The England international midfielder has played a huge role in West Ham making it through to the Conference League final and we expect him to have another big game on Wednesday.
Rice controls the tempo of the play for West Ham, winning the ball back, starting attacks and getting forward to offer another option in the final third. Since breaking into the first team in 2017, Rice has continued to develop into one of England's best central midfielders, someone the Fiorentina players are going to struggle against on Wednesday.
Fiorentina Player to Watch: Arthur Cabral
Fiorentina's Brazilian forward has scored in all three competitions for the Italian side this season, Serie A, Coppa Italia and the Europa Conference League, so if anyone is going to find the back of the net for Italiano's side then Arthur Cabral would be the obvious choice.
With a combined 17-goals in all competitions this season, the Brazilian forward could find himself on the move this summer. The 25-year-old impressed with Basel in Switzerland after making the move from his homeland of Brazil on 2019 and while he only scored two league goals in 14 Serie A matches last season, this campaign has been far more successful and could end in silverware.
