Getafe followed their midweek 3-2 comeback victory over amateur side UD Lebrijana in the Copa del Rey with another impressive comeback win over the weekend, as they defeated Sevilla 3-1 in La Liga, despite trailing at the half-time break.
Prior to that run, the Madrid outfit had lost back-to-back games and were without a win in five consecutive matches across all competitions.
Jose Bordalas' troops will now turn their attention to the Conference League, where they are still hunting for their first win. The hosts have earned only one point from a possible six and are 30th in the 36-team league phase.
Long-term absentee forward Christantus Uche remains the only player sidelined for the La Liga side. Mario Martin and Johan Mojica should return to the starting XI after both players missed last weekend's victory over Sevilla due to suspension.
On the other hand, Brighton & Hove Albion are coming off one of their biggest wins of the season, as they defeated then-Premier League leaders Manchester City 1-0 on the road.
The visitors have seven wins in their last 10 matches across all competitions, although it is worth mentioning that they managed only one win in their last four.
Nonetheless, Fabian Hurzeler's men have put in some impressive results this season, having beaten both Manchester sides, as well as current Premier League leaders Arsenal. They are unbeaten in two Conference League outings (W1, D1) and are ninth in the league phase.
Evan Ferguson (ankle), Stefanos Tzimas (ACL), Zadok Yohanna (knock), Femi Azeez (muscle), Kaoru Mitoma (hamstring), and Ferdi Kadioglu (hip) are all confirmed out, while Pascal Struijk will need a late fitness test to confirm his availability.
While this will be the first competitive clash between these sides, it is worth mentioning that they met in a friendly in August 2021, with Getafe winning by two unanswered goals.

Whispers Predicts: Getafe 1-3 Brighton & Hove Albion
Priced at 13/20 (1.65), Brighton & Hove Albion are considered favourites by the bookmakers ahead of this skirmish.
The visitors have won seven of their last 10 matches in all competitions, and considering their impressive track record against top teams this season, we are confident that they will earn a fairly comfortable victory over an inconsistent Getafe side.
While Brighton & Hove Albion opened the scoring in six of their last eight matches, Getafe have conceded first in six of their last seven games. Keeping in mind that the hosts trailed at the break in four of their last five fixtures, HT Brighton & Hove Albion to win at 23/20 (2.15) could be worth a punt.
We also fancy over 4.5 total cards at 17/20 (1.85), as was the case in each of the hosts' last nine matches.
> Over 4.5 total cards at 17/20 (1.85) | Likelihood: Probable
> BTTS – Yes at 21/20 (2.05) | Likelihood: Probable
> HT result: Brighton & Hove Albion at 23/20 (2.15) | Likelihood: Probable
> Brighton & Hove Albion & BTTS – Yes at 27/10 (3.70) | Likelihood: Possible
> Correct Score: 1-3 at 13/1 (14.00) | Likelihood: Outsider
