Al Hilal transfer targets summer 2025: Saudi champions target Bayern star

After an impressive 2023/24 season, in which they won everything they could in Saudi Arabia, Al Hilal only won the Super Cup in the 2024/25 season. Furthermore, they've fallen short of winning the AFC Champions League both times, which is their ultimate goal and why they're spending so much money.

With that in mind, we can expect an explosive summer at the club, with some big names joining Al Hilal by the end of the transfer window. After all, Al Hilal already made a big move by signing Simone Inzaghi as their new manager, making the Italian the best-paid manager in the world.

In this article, we will take a closer look at the main Al Hilal transfer targets for the 2025 summer.

Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

Just like last summer, Osimhen is one of the most sought-after players in Europe and beyond. However, Napoli's fee demands and Osimhen's wages are obstacles for many clubs, but not for Al Hilal. The Saudi team are reportedly ready to pay Napoli's asking price, around £63m, and they can certainly cover Osimhen's wage demands too.

However, Osimhen has reportedly already rejected multiple Al Hilal's contract offers, with a desire to stay in Europe. Al Hilal are persistent, so there could still be more to this story, but for now, the Nigerian forward seems to be focused on other destinations.

Theo Hernandez (AC Milan)

Another high-profile name that Al Hilal have made a priority to sign is Theo Hernandez, but the situation here is similar to that of Osimhen as Hernandez reportedly isn't interested in a move to Saudi Arabia.

Of course, the left-back could change his opinion, especially with Al Hilal bound to improve the conditions of his contract. Hernandez seems destined to leave AC Milan and Inzaghi is very keen on him, but things have stalled for now.

Ederson (Atalanta)

Al Hilal are reportedly also interested in Atalanta's midfielder Ederson, although they haven't yet submitted an official offer. The 25-year-old Brazilian is a hot topic of transfer rumours this summer, with more than a few Premier League clubs also hoping for his signature.

Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich)

Al Hilal have been trying to lure top talent from Europe to Saudi Arabia last summer too, including Kingsley Coman. The French winger didn't end up in Saudi Arabia then, but things could be different this summer as Coman reportedly rejected Barcelona's contract offer due to low wages.

On top of that, Coman is reportedly fine with a move to Saudi Arabia, but Real Madrid have also shown interest in the experienced winger, so Al Hilal could face some tough competition for Coman.

Heung-min Son (Tottenham)

Spurs are in for a summer of big changes, and none could be bigger than parting ways with their captain. Son's mediocre output last season, high wages, and the fact that he's already 32 years old have made his departure a reality, as Tottenham reportedly are willing to let Son go.

Al Hilal have recently emerged as one of the teams interested in his services, so we could see the South Korean move to Saudi Arabia this summer. However, no official offers have been submitted yet.
