* Betting odds were correct at the time of publication but are subject to change
It's time for our Premier League predictions ahead of West Ham's trip to Sheffield United on Sunday. The Hammers are down to the bare bones due to injuries, suspensions and the Africa Cup of Nations so David Moyes may well be looking to add to his squad during the transfer window.

Sheffield Utd vs West Ham team news
Sheffield Utd
The Blades kept the scoreline respectable in their last game away at Manchester City. The hosts broke the deadlock in the fourteenth minute and most expected Pep Guardiola's side to go on and score four or five goals. However, City only managed one more goal just after the hour mark and won the game 2-0. A defeat is a defeat but Sheff Utd will take a crumb of comfort knowing that the scoreline stayed low but they still remain bottom of the Premier League table.
Chris Basham, Max Lowe, John Egan, Tom Davies, Anel Ahmedhodzic and Auston Trusty are all injury concerns for the home side this weekend, while Yasser Larouci and Anis Ben Slimane are away on international duty.
Predicted Lineup: Foderingham (GK), Baldock, Robinson, Trusty, Bogle, Thomas, Norwood, Souza, McAtee, Brooks & Osula
West Ham
West Ham played out a goalless draw in their last league game at home to Brighton. A point was probably a fair result in a game where both sides lacked that killer instinct in front of goal. The Hammers sit sixth in the table, remaining three points clear of the Seagulls, and still boast a game in hand on Tottenham who sit a place and six points above them.
Lucas Paquetá, Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen, and Vladimir Coufal are injured while Mohammed Kudus and Nayef Aguerd are at the Africa Cup of Nations, so won't make the trip to Bramall Lane this weekend.
Predicted Lineup: Areola (GK), Ogbonna, Emerson, Mavropanos, Johnson, Ward-Prowse, Souček, Fornals, Álvarez, Ings & Mubama

Player to Watch: Tomas Soucek
With many of West Ham's usual attackers either out injured or away on international duty, we're not expecting many goals in this game.
Tomas Soucek has scored five times in the league for West Ham this season and has made a habit of chipping in with goals from midfield since making the move to London from Prague back in 2020.
We're backing Soucek to play his part in a narrow Hammers victory this weekend and wouldn't be surprised if he scored the only goal of the game.
