Draw

Six of the last seven head-to-heads have been draws.

Oliver Glasner returns to Selhurst Park with Nottingham Forest as they take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Glasner won three trophies with the Eagles but switched his allegiance to Forest this summer.

Pierre Sage is now the man in charge in South London, and he will be hoping for victory on home soil.

After winning the Conference League, Glasner departed Palace for Forest, with Sage taking his place.

The Eagles have started the season slowly, with just four points collected in five league games.

To try to get players up to speed during the international break, Palace played a friendly against Bristol City but lost 2-0 to the Championship outfit, which will not have put them in good spirits heading into this one.

Axel Disasi remains suspended and Chadi Riad out injured, but Dean Henderson, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Takehiro Tomiyasu are close to a return; this game will come too soon, though.

As for Forest, Igor Jesus and Nikola Milenkovic are sidelined, while Neco Williams is struggling with illness.

That will be a blow for Glasner, who will want his best team available to compete against his old side away from home.

The Tricky Trees have also had a relatively slow start and lost 1-0 at home to newly-promoted Coventry City before the international break.

Nonetheless, their head-to-head record remains strong, as they are yet to taste defeat to Palace in the Premier League.

Whispers predicts: Crystal Palace 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Forest are slight 17/10 (2.70) favourites, but given their stuttering form, we are happy to back against the bookies.

With Palace not in great form either, the Draw at 5/2 (3.50) appeals here.

Neither side are fully confident, so Under 2.5 goals at 11/12 (1.92) could also be a play, and in terms of players, Morgan Gibbs-White is the one to watch.

Having remarkably produced a goal contribution in each of his last eight away league appearances (G6, A4), Gibbs-White to score or assist at 5/4 (2.25) is our final pick.

Overall, we are predicting a 1-1 draw, which is available at 6/1 (7.00).
