Tottenham are eyeing a summer move for Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy, but any deal is entirely conditional on the club securing their Premier League status, according to transfer insider Nicolo Schira.
Schira confirmed that Spurs have already reached out to Guirassy's representatives and view the 30-year-old as their primary striking target for next season. However, with Tottenham currently occupying 17th place and holding only a two-point cushion over West Ham United with two games remaining, the deal remains on ice until survival is confirmed.
Guirassy has attracted interest from several clubs this summer. AC Milan, Juventus and Fenerbahce are all understood to be monitoring the situation, with the Italian giants reported to be preparing a contract offer worth €5m-€6m per season.
A proven striker with impressive Bundesliga numbers
The Guinea international has contributed 21 goals and six assists from 45 appearances in all competitions this season, ranking third in the Bundesliga Golden Boot standings with 16 league goals, level with Patrik Schick of Bayer Leverkusen, and behind Stuttgart's Deniz Undav and Harry Kane of Bayern Munich.

Since joining Dortmund in the summer of 2024, Guirassy has scored 59 goals in 95 appearances — an average of 0.62 per game that underlines his consistency as one of Europe's most reliable finishers.
Guirassy's contract contains a €50m (£43m) release clause applicable exclusively to seven elite clubs — Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal. Tottenham are not among them and would therefore need to negotiate directly with Dortmund, who are under no obligation to sell.
Upgrade on Tottenham current options
Compared to the striking options currently available to Spurs, Richarlison, Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani, who is set to return to Paris Saint-Germain after a disappointing loan stint, Guirassy represents a significant upgrade in terms of clinical finishing and physical presence, with a profile well suited to the Premier League.
Tottenham face a demanding run-in, with visits to Chelsea before finishing at home against Everton. West Ham, meanwhile, travel to Newcastle before a home game against Leeds. The outcome of those fixtures will determine whether Spurs' summer planning can proceed, with Guirassy at the top of the list.
