The final round of games is upon us in Group A and we're expecting a tight and tense 90-minutes between Switzerland and Turkey. Both teams have to win their last group game to stand any chance of progressing through to the knockout stage, and even that might not prove to be enough to continue their journey at Euro 2020.

Under 2.5 Goals

While only two of the last six meetings between Switzerland and Turkey have produced under 2.5 goals, we're expecting a very close game between the pair this Sunday. Both teams lost heavily to Italy and Switzerland were held to a 1-1 draw by Wales, with Turkey losing 2-0 against Bale and co. Turkey haven't looked good in the final third and are yet to score at Euro 2020, while Switzerland have only looked slightly better in front of goal. This is a must-win game for both countries and as such, it's likely to be tight and tense throughout. Three of Turkey's last four matches have produced under 2.5 goals.

BTTS – No

Again, the history between these two nations suggests that both teams will score, but we are going the other way based on their performances at Euro 2020 so far. Switzerland have not been clinical enough in the final third, netting one goal in their opening two matches, while Turkey have looked really poor in front of goal and are yet to get off the mark. Veteran forward Yilmaz has been feeding of scraps but even when Turkey have created clear-cut goalscoring opportunities, they have failed to covert them. Turkey have now failed to score in three of their last four Internationals and we're expecting more of the same from them on Sunday.

Switzerland to Win

Switzerland have looked slightly better than Turkey in the tournament so far and we believe their extra quality in the final third will see them through to a narrow victory this weekend. The Swiss have won four of their last six international matches and have only failed to score in one of those six encounters. Turkey have lost their last two games and have failed to score in three of their last four fixtures.

Switzerland vs Turkey: The Stats that Matter

Turkey have been pretty woeful so far but if you think they will come good against Switzerland in the final round of group games, then here's a few markets that might interest you.

Turkey to Win – Turkey are the underdogs for this game and that means you can get some great odds on them beating Switzerland, such as 75/19 with Mansion Bet.

Turkey to Score Over 2.5 Goals – The Turks haven't found the back of the net yet but if you fancy them to score three or more goals against the Swiss then bet365 are currently offering 9/1.

Burak Yilmaz to Score – Yilmaz has run his heart out for Turkey in this tournament, yet he has hardly had a sniff in front of goal. You can back the 35-year-old striker to score against Switzerland at 27/10 with SBK.

Only a win will do for both nations in this crunch game in Group A

Switzerland were played off the park by Italy and like Turkey, they slipped to a 3-0 defeat. The Swiss are a better side than they have shown so far at Euro 2020 but that failure to beat Wales in the opening game of Group A means they are now at the last chance saloon and simply must beat this distinctly average Turkey side. Embolo put in a very good performance against the Welsh and could be key to a Swiss victory this weekend, due to his power, pace and dribbling skills.

Turkey are yet to turn up at Euro 2020 and even if they do find their form in the final group game, it probably won't be enough to earn them a place in the knockout stage. Yilmaz has often been left stranded up-front without the support of his midfielders and Turkey may have to look at putting another striker alongside the veteran Lille striker in order to score their first goals of the tournament. We don't hold out much hope for Turkey in this game and believe they will exit Euro 2020 without scoring a single goal.
