Skybet is always coming up with awesome promotions for existing players. They are well-known for players being able to lock-in cashback rewards, free bets, and extra deposit boosts. The icing on the cake is the free chance of a £250,000 payout every Saturday on English football too!

Bet365 – 4/5

It would be unfair to say that bet365 doesn’t have good existing player offers, but they aren’t as enticing as Skybet’s. They also aren’t quite as predictable or regular, which is why it’s advisable to check in with bet365 when you can for an updated list.

User Experience – Bet365 wins

Skybet – 4/5

The only reason we have awarded Skybet a 4/5 rather than a lesser number is due to the upbeat feel of the site. We like that it has famous TV presenters cropping up on the pages to present sports and bonuses. Besides that, it really isn’t an easy site to use, and the visuals could do with a touch-up.

Bet365 – 5/5

Simplicity among top-tier features is why bet365 is receiving full marks here. You’d have thought that with features like bet builder, cashouts, and streaming that it would be a tough site to use. This simply isn’t the case with bet365, and the experience is just as satisfactory on the mobile app too.

Skybet does have plenty of live betting opportunities, yet the presentation is what lets it down again. The whole vibe is somewhat basic, and you can’t see dynamic odd changes or see how many markets are open for any given event.

In contrast, bet365 has very dynamic odd changes, and they are very close to the event itself in terms of the time difference. You can often see more than 100 in-play markets for major bet365 events, and there is a more than adequate selection of betting types too.

Once again, we wouldn’t say that accessing live streaming with Skybet is particularly self-explanatory. You can only access the stream through a tiny green button next to the market, yet once you do initiate a stream, the quality is excellent. 

Bet365 – 4/5

The variety of streaming options open to members of bet365 is excellent, yet there’s one major drawback. When using the stream on desktop you can’t set it to full-screen mode, and from the mobile app, unless your connection is perfect, it can get glitchy at times. You must have a positive account balance to view a stream, or a bet placed within 24 hours.

Skybet’s mobile app is graphically much better than the desktop site, and the presentation of its sections are also better. That’s just about where the positives end however, for it is quite prone to technical issues and not very friendly to navigate.

Bet365’s mobile app is simply non-comparable to Skybet. Bet365 has one of the best mobile apps in the nation, and this is due to the functionality and performance of the app overall. The app can be installed for Android and iOS right now.

To the site's credit, Skybet does allow cashouts for the vast majority of bets placed on its site. However, generally, the cashouts are not quite as generous as what you can find with other sportsbooks in the UK, especially with bet365.

Bet365 not only offers cashouts for practically all bets, but it also permits partial cashouts that give the user more options. You may choose to partially cash out a wager and leave some money involved, therefore taking an early profit but leaving an open door to potentially win some more.

We cannot take anything away from Skybet here. It is an excellent online sportsbook with a whole range of bonuses for its members. However, bet365 has just raised the bar yet again for sports betting in the UK. It has expanded its live streaming options* to add more sports, the odds are as competitive as ever, and the cashouts are rewarding.

When it comes to mobile betting too, there is just no contest. Bet365 is one of the best performing and most functional platforms on the market today, yet Skybet is definitely not a bad option either. It's just that bet365 is easier to use and far more visually pleasing, and this really creates the impression of using a superior sports betting site.
