PSG goalscorer odds vs Nice: Will Enrique call on Mbappe?

We review the leading PSG goalscorer odds vs Nice as Les Parisiens resume their quest for a first Coupe De France triumph since 2021.

Despite their status as pre-match favourites, PSG must improve to arrest a dip in domestic form. Luis Enrique has experimented with alternative attacking lineups following Kylian Mbappe’s admission that he would leave the club in the summer, leading to inconsistencies in PSG’s performances.

The French superstar continues to provide PSG’s main goalscoring threat from the bench or in the starting lineup. Alternatively, Enrique could rely on his other striker options, who could be the key picks among the PSG goalscorer odds vs Nice.

PSG goalscorer odds vs Nice – Our picks

Kylian Mbappe – 13/5

Mbappe has been used sparingly by Enrique in recent matches. The France international has completed a full 90 minutes once in PSG’s last five games, highlighting Enrique’s desire to focus on different attacking options.

Although Mabppe’s playing time has been somewhat limited, he has still managed to produce the goods in the final third. In his most recent start in the 2-1 win at Real Sociedad in the Champions League, Mbappe fired in both goals to secure PSG’s passage to the quarter-finals.

The pair of strikes took Mbaeppe’s tally to 33 goals in all competitions. Six of these goals also came in the Coupe de France in just three appearances and the 25-year-old is the competition’s leading scorer this season.

With Les Parisiens faltering domestically after three consecutive Ligue 1 draws, Enrique could be tempted to call on his talisman to help PSG reclaim some dominance. Mbappe will be raring to go if he is recalled, having struck three goals in his last three personal clashes against Nice.

Gonçalo Ramos – 9/2

With Mbappe’s recent withdrawal from PSG’s starting XI, Gonçalo Ramos has become the team’s attacking focal point.

After struggling to hold down a regular spot earlier in the 2023/24 season, Ramos has started to produce consistently in front of goal. The Portuguese has scored four goals in his last six matches in all competitions, including in PSG’s previous round win over Brest (3-1) in the Coupe de France.

Ramos was also amongst the goals in Les Parisiens' 2-2 draw at home with Reims on Sunday, striking a second for the French champions. Not only did the former Benfica man get on the scoresheet, he showed a constant direct threat from the outset and attempted more shots than any other player during the match (8).

If Enrique is going to show consistency in his lineup, then Ramos will likely be the standout pick among the PSG goalscorer odds vs Nice in favour of Mbappe.

Randal Kolo Muani 6/1

For a period, Randal Kolo Muani was dove-tailing with Mbappe to inflict the ultimate attacking damage on opponents. The French forward enjoyed a purple patch between mid-January and early February, notching four goals in five starts.

Since scoring the final goal in PSG’s 3-1 win over Lille on February 10, Muani has started just one match and has failed to hit the net in this spell. Enrique might be tempted to give Muani a rare start in the upcoming Coupe de France quarter-final against Nice to allow the 25-year-old to rediscover his form.

With two strikes in two Coupe de France matches, Muani has shown some scoring touch in the competition so far. Another cup scoring opportunity could arise for the French forward as Les Parisiens welcome Nice to Parc de Princes.
