Poland
Poland have also failed to qualify for Euro 2024 after a 1-1 draw with the Czech Republic ended their Group E campaign with 11 points. Brutally, the Poles finished only one point below Czechia in the automatic qualification spot, but they may still qualify for the playoff places, depending on how the final games go in other groups.
In total, Poland secured three wins and lost three times, and by scoring 10 and letting in 10 as well, they all but summed up their topsy-turvy qualifying campaign. Nevertheless, the 1-1 draw with Czechia does now mean a three-game unbeaten run since a 2-0 loss to Albania.
Probable lineup: Szczesny (GK), Bednarek, Bochniewicz, Kiwior, Frankowski, Slisz, Piotrowski, Szymanski, Zalewski, Lewandowski, Swiderski
Latvia
As expected, Latvia failed to qualify for Euro 2024 and are guaranteed to finish bottom of Group D. On one hand, unlike teams such as San Marino and Cyprus, Latvia did at least get one win on the board after a victory over Armenia against the odds. Jānis Ikaunieksa and Daniels Balodis were the goalscorers that day in a 2-0 home win, but those two finishes were part of only five across the qualifying games for Euro 2024.
What's more, Latvia were beaten 2-0 at home by Croatia in the last outing and 4-0 by Turkey before that, and this now puts the nation on a two-game losing run without a goal and only one win in the past 10 games.
Probable lineup: Ozols (GK), Savalnieks, Cernomordijs, Balodis, Ciganiks, Tobers, Saveljevs, Jaunzems, Ikaunieks, Daskevics, Uldrikis
Starting lineups are usually released 60 minutes before kick-off.

Player to Watch: Robert Lewandowski
As expected, our Poland vs Latvia prediction sees Lewandowski at the forefront. He continues to shine for club and country, and the striker now has seven goals in La Liga from 11 matches in 2023/24. The Barcelona man also has three goals in seven caps for Poland this year, bringing his tally to 81 goals in 145 caps.
Against an out-of-form and struggling Latvia side, there's nothing to suggest he won't get another goal and threaten the Latvian defence throughout.
