Chelsea 4-4 Man City – 12th November 2023

Pochettino has been involved in some incredible matches against Man City over the years but you'll do well to find any better than his most recent H2H with the Blues. Earlier this season, Chelsea and Man City played out an eight-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge which swung one way and then the next. After both teams squandered leads at different points of the match, Chelsea earned themselves a point in the dying minutes when ex-City player, Cole Palmer, scored from the penalty spot.

Man City 2-1 PSG – 24th November 2021

In November 2021, Pochettino's PSG faced Man City at the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League group stages. Coming into the match, the two teams were separated by a point and with just two group games to go it was effectively the decider to see who would finish top of Group A. Kylian Mbappe gave the away side the lead just after half time but City came back to win the game thanks to goals from Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.

PSG 2-0 Man City – 28th September 2021

A few weeks earlier, the two teams met in Paris on matchday two of the 2021/22 Champions League. It was Pochettino's first full season as the club and he needed a statement win after failing to convince the PSG support of his credentials towards the back end of the previous season. This turned out to be one of the best wins he enjoyed in the dugout at the Parc des Princes with his side defeating the tournament favourites 2-0 thanks to goals from Idrissa Gueye and Lionel Messi.

Man City 2-0 PSG – 4th May 2021

PSG were looking to make it to back-to-back Champions League finals in 2021 when they visited the Etihad Stadium for the second leg of their semi-final with Man City. Pochettino had joined the club midway through the season and was dreaming of becoming the man to break PSG's CL duck. The French club faced an uphill task after losing the first leg 2-1 and despite giving it their all, City were too strong for them on the night and they ran out as 2-0 winners to reach the final in Porto.

PSG 1-2 Man City – 28th April 2021

In the first leg of PSG's semi-final clash with Man City, Pochettino saw his side take a deserved lead through a Marquinhos header early in the first half. The Parisians continued to dominate the first half but couldn't get a second goal which they later came to regret. City came out a different beast in the second half and turned the game on its head thanks to goals from Riyad Mahrez and Kevin de Bruyne.
