Paris Saint-Germain have in their ranks several of the most talented players in the world. Manchester City dream of attracting one of them.

Just elected Golden Boy 2025, Desire Doue has been rewarded for his excellent season with PSG. With 16 goals scored and 14 assists provided, the former Stade Rennais player experienced the pinnacle during the Champions League final, where his brace made an impression. Since then, the French winger has changed status and is now coveted by the most prestigious clubs in the world.

Now, Desire Doue is constantly linked with rumours to European heavyweights, notably Manchester City. Outlet Fichajes announce that the English club would reportedly dream of securing the services of the rising 20-year-old star. A dream that does not seem surprising, given how bright Desire Doue's future looks. However, PSG are clearly not sellers.

Desire Doue: Manchester City dream

Manchester City are aware that a Desire Doue transfer would cost at minimum €120m (£105m), even if at present, Paris will never let him leave, regardless of the price. It is rather a question of an extension to his contract, which expires in June 2029. But Fichajes indicate that the France international (four caps) would not be insensitive to the Premier League's charm and that he knows in England, he would have the opportunity to sign a contract with a huge salary as the key.

A Desire Doue departure is therefore not on the agenda but Manchester City's interest is completely logical. Like PSG with Lamine Yamal, the English giants are simply showing that if an opportunity to recruit him is possible, then the Sky Blues will do everything to seize it. The capital club are warned, they are being hunted by the Mancunians.
