Authenticity (3/5): Saudi target Diaz
After failing to lure Mo Salah to the SPL, Saudi Arabia have now set their sights on Liverpool‘s left-winger Luis Diaz, who is being viewed as Al Nassr's top target.
The story comes from talkSPORT, which suggests the Merseyside outfit are aware of Al Nassr's interest in the 28-year-old.
Value (3/5): Price tag unclear
Diaz has also been strongly linked with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, with reports in Spain suggesting Liverpool could demand north of £65million for the Colombian. It remains unclear what they will ask from Al Nassr but the current price tag doesn't appear to be out of reach for the Saudi giants.
Suitability (4/5): Aggressive winger
Known for his pace and intensity, Diaz likes to relentlessly take on full-backs. In recent years, he has also seemingly worked on his end product, having managed to register a career-best 13 goals and five assists this season.
Upgrade? (4/5): Potential Ronaldo replacement
With talisman Cristiano Ronaldo hinting at a potential exit after yet another trophyless campaign in Saudi, Al Nassr appear to be focused on strengthening their left flank. At this moment, few wingers are better than Diaz to fill Ronaldo's void in the SPL.
Logic (3/5): Wants new contract
It appears Diaz's priority is to stay at Anfield and sign a new contract. However, should Liverpool refuse to meet his demands, the Colombia international may push for a move elsewhere in search of a more lucrative deal.
Whisper+ verdict: 17/25
Al Nassr have the financial might to meet both Liverpool and Diaz's demands. One to keep an eye on!
