Liverpool are ready to take action for an important Real Madrid player in the next winter transfer window.

Liverpool are already thinking about the winter transfer window to strengthen their squad and try to turn things around in the second half of the season. Whilst questions are being asked about Arne Slot's position, the Dutch manager does not seem directly threatened.

Thus, he has his say on the profiles targeted in January. According to information from Caught Offside, the Reds manager has made Eduardo Camavinga a priority target, as he wants to strengthen his midfield. There appears to be an opening for the English champions in this case.

Real Madrid pondering Camavinga's situation

Indeed, according to the same source, the France international has an uncertain future. Although he has featured in 13 matches since the start of the season, the 23-year-old player is still struggling to establish himself as a starter and has only done so five times. Not spared by injuries either, the former Rennes player is the subject of internal discussion at Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants do not necessarily want to part with Camavinga, but questions are being asked about his long-term future. With Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham, who are considered undisputed starters, the Merengues could open the door to a departure for the Cabinda (Angola) native in order to fund future transfers.

Liverpool to make offer to sign Camavinga in winter window

Liverpool would therefore like to take advantage of this situation to recruit Eduardo Camavinga in the next winter transfer window. According to Caught Offside, the Reds are expected to formulate a €60m (£52m) offer in January. A coherent amount for the Frenchman, who is valued at €50m (£42.7m) by Transfermarkt.

It should be noted however in this case that Manchester United would be closely monitoring the young midfielder's situation, as would PSG. Moreover, Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich would also be on the lookout, whilst Liverpool are reported to be in pole position. It remains however to know Camavinga's position regarding this stated interest from the Reds.
