Revelation of last summer's Club World Cup, Gonzalo Garcia plays very little with Real Madrid. The Spanish striker has several exit doors on the eve of the winter transfer window.

Unknown to the general public a year ago, Gonzalo Garcia was revealed during the Club World Cup, a competition where he was voted top scorer with four goals. Real Madrid supporters then thought that the Castilla youngster could become an important element of Xabi Alonso's squad. Ultimately, Kylian Mbappe's outstanding form (18 goals in 16 matches) completely overshadows Gonzalo Garcia.

Whilst Endrick is not being used at all, Gonzalo Garcia cannot be content with the scraps left by the French striker either, having only played 108 minutes this season. A loan departure would be considered by the player during the winter transfer window and the performances delivered by the Spaniard at the Club World Cup offer him good standing in the transfer market. According to information from the Daily Mail, six clubs, including five in the Premier League, are interested.

Gonzalo Garcia blocked by Real Madrid this winter?

The British outlet reports that Sunderland, Aston Villa, Wolverhampton, Leeds United and Brighton in England but also Getafe in Spain have expressed interest in the 21-year-old striker. The Seagulls have just entered this case but they are very motivated at the idea of obtaining Gonzalo Garcia's services, on loan, until the end of the season.

However, Real Madrid will probably already loan Endrick to Lyon. And the Merengues will certainly not let a second striker leave, which would leave Kylian Mbappe without cover. Gonzalo Garcia will probably have more playing time during the second half of the season and unless there is a significant offer, a departure seems unlikely for the player valued at €15m (£13m).
