With his substitute role at PSG, Gonçalo Ramos faces an uncertain future during this transfer window. The Portuguese striker is, in any case, attracting strong interest across Europe.
In early August, PSG took a surprising stance on Gonçalo Ramos by not declaring him for sale. Yet, the Portuguese striker is only a substitute in Luis Enrique’s system, which favours natural wingers up front, such as Ousmane Dembélé, over the Portuguese number 9.
In any case, this position has not discouraged interest in the former Benfica man. According to Caught Offside, Gonçalo Ramos’s lack of regular playing time has alerted several European clubs. In England, Newcastle United, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Liverpool are all assessing the possibility of a transfer this summer.
Premier League and Serie A clubs battling for Gonçalo Ramos

The Magpies and the Red Devils see the Portuguese international as a plan B should they fail to land Benjamin Sesko. The same goes for Liverpool with Alexander Isak. Two Italian clubs, Napoli and Juventus, are also interested in the 24-year-old.
Napoli are preparing for life after Victor Osimhen, while the Old Lady are restructuring their attack and have identified the Portuguese as a potential addition. Notably, according to the British outlet, PSG could now be open to selling Gonçalo Ramos this summer if an offer comes close to the €65m (£56,5m) they paid in 2024. Otherwise, a loan deal with a purchase option could also be negotiated.
