The January transfer window is in full swing, but today, the biggest news from the football world is that Ruben Amorim has been sacked as the manager of Manchester United after 14 months in charge.
The sacking of Amorim has thrown Man Utd's transfer strategy for January up in the air, but the consensus now is that any incomings are unlikely until a new permanent manager has been appointed.
Away from the managerial merry-go-round, check out today's biggest transfer stories below.

Man Utd trio no longer keen to leave Old Trafford

Following the sacking of Ruben Amorim, Joshua Zirkzee, Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte are reportedly no longer going to push for moves away from Old Trafford this January.
According to a report by Chris Wheeler in the Daily Mail, the three players were all ‘desperate' to leave the club this January had Amorim remained in charge of the club.
However, now that the former Sporting Lisbon boss is out of the picture, the trio are prepared to stick around and fight for their places under the new manager, whomever that may be.
The news that Mainoo is no longer looking for a way out of the club will be well received by Man Utd supporters. The academy graduate had become disillusioned under Amorim, but he will now be hoping to fulfil his potential in a red shirt.
Real Madrid add Adam Wharton to their list of targets

Real Madrid are the latest club to express an interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, and Los Blancos could make a serious effort to sign him at the end of the season.
According to a report in Spanish publication, Marca, Real Madrid are prepared to spend more than €70m on Wharton and believe that he would offer them a suitable alternative to Aurelien Tchouaméni.
The report also states that the hierarchy at the club view the 21-year-old as the perfect player to unlock fellow youngster, Arda Guler.
If Real Madrid do manage to pull off the signing of Wharton at the end of the season, then it would see him link up with Jude Bellingham in the heart of the Madrid midfield, something that could pay dividends for England moving forward, too.
Chelsea to make audacious swoop for Vincius Jr

Despite Enzo Maresca leaving Chelsea last week, the Blues are showing no signs of slowing down in the transfer market, and the latest big name linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Vinicius Jr.
According to a report in the Guardian, Chelsea are preparing a bid of £132m for the Brazilian winger and are preparing to strike once the season ends in May.
Vinicius Jr's current contract at Real Madrid is due to expire in 2027, and unless he signs a new contract in the next six months, Real Madrid will almost certainly cash in this summer to prevent him from leaving on a free transfer the following year.
Several clubs will undoubtedly be in for the 25-year-old if he is put up for sale, with Saudi Arabia another possible destination.
