Manchester United are among the clubs weighing up a move for Real Sociedad forward Ander Barrenetxea this summer.
Reports in Spain claim the 24‑year‑old is being closely tracked by the Red Devils, with Premier League rivals Chelsea also monitoring his situation.
The Spanish winger is understood to be on a shortlist of attacking options at Old Trafford and is viewed as a player who fits the club’s longer‑term project.
Sociedad, however, are under no pressure to sell the £65m‑rated Barrenetxea. The Basque side have already banked significant fees in recent seasons through major departures such as Alexander Isak and Martin Zubimendi.
Chelsea keen to bring Jonathan Rowe back to England

Elsewhere, Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Bologna wide man Jonathan Rowe, according to reports.
The Blues are believed to be ‘readying' a £35 million offer to bring the 23‑year‑old back to England, having previously been on the books at Norwich City before his move to Marseille in 2024.
Man Utd and Aston Villa are also interested in the former England U21 winger, while Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly prepared to double his salary in an effort to lure him to Istanbul.
Rowe remains under contract at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara until 2029, so it is unclear whether the Serie A side would be willing to sanction a sale this summer.
Leeds tracking Lois Openda

Leeds United are the ‘frontrunners' in the race to sign Lois Openda from Juventus.
Reports now suggest that the 26‑year‑old striker is said to be open to a move to west Yorkshire after a disappointing spell in Italy this season.
The Belgium international joined Juventus on loan from RB Leipzig with an obligation to buy worth around £40 million, but he has struggled for both goals, scoring just twice, and minutes under Luciano Spalletti.
Leeds are keen to offer him a way out, with significant wages on the table in a similar loan‑to‑buy structure, while his current valuation of £28 million could also make a permanent deal appealing.
