Germany vs Turkey lineups and latest team news
Germany
Nagelsmann is potentially using the match against Turkey for experimentation with the young manager calling up five uncapped players to his squad.
They include two goalkeepers who will offer competition for Marc-André ter Stegen and three outfield players (Marvin Ducksch, Robert Andrich and Grischa Promel) all of whom will be looking to muscle their way into Nagelsmann's plans.
As far as the usual suspects go, Jamal Musiala is a major loss for the Germans with the young Bayern Munich forward out with a hamstring problem.
Julian Brandt is likely to come in and replace him in the starting eleven while Leroy Sane and Florian Witz are shoe-ins to start the game. Niclas Füllkrug is Nagelsmann's preferred striker and the 30-year-old is expected to start again against Turkey.
Predicted lineup
Ter Stegen – Tah, Rudiger, Hummels Henrichs – Kimmich, Gundogan – Brandt,Wirtz, Sane – Fullkrug
Turkey
At the last European Championships, Turkey were dubbed the dark horses by many but failed to live up to expectations. Ahead of the next edition of the tournament next summer, they will be more determined than ever to ensure they give a better account of themselves and what better way to prepare for that than to play Germany away from home.
Head coach Vincenzo Montella looks set to field his strongest possible side on Saturday which means the Germans will have to contend with the likes of Baris Yilmaz and Hakan Calhanoglu. Ex-Everton forward Cenk Tosun will provide a threat off the bench as he looks to add to the 20 goals he has netted for his country so far.
Predicted lineup
Cakir – Kadioglu, Bardakci, Akaydin, Ozkacar – Akgun, Calhanoglu, Yuksek, Ozcan, Akturkoglu – Yilmaz
