Chelsea
Chelsea recorded their first league win under Pochettino last weekend when Sterling’s goals were more than enough for a 3-0 triumph over Luton. The Blues are making a slow start to the campaign but they have been spending huge amounts of money on new players and it might take some time for the synchrony to develop.
The coming match against a League Two opposition is a great opportunity for Pochettino to rotate heavily and start with mainly fringe players. Recently signed goalie Petrovic could make his debut. Mudryk should be given a start too if he overcomes a minor niggle on time.
Chelsea have lots of injury issues, currently, 7 players are in rehabilitation, but the squad is very big and some of the development players tend to get involved in the League Cup too so the Blues still have plenty of quality options.
Predicted Lineup:
Petrovic (GK), Humphreys, Colwill, Cucurella, Gusto, Ugochukwu, Gallagher, Maatsen, Madueke, Mudryk & Moreira
Wimbledon
Wimbledon made a solid start to their League Two campaign. However, they have never beaten a Premier League side before so for them just being competitive and avoiding a humiliation in the coming match will be seen as a success.
Captain Jake Reeves is Wimbledon’s best defender but he got hurt last Saturday and it seems he will be absent now. Winger Little also got injured in this last match and he too seems set to miss.
Wimbledon’s squad is small anyway so without those two the manager will struggle to fill all the holes.
Predicted Lineup:
Tzanev (GK), Ogundere, Lewis, Johnson, Brown, Tilley, Ball, Pell, McLean, Al-Hamadi & Bugiel
Starting Lineups
The teams usually announce their starting lineups one hour before the start of the game.

Player to Watch: Diego Moreira
Chelsea’s young new forward Diego Moreira is expected to be trusted from the off up front. He will be eager to impress and put himself in Pochettino’s thoughts for more minutes so we back Moreira to play with extra edge and seek goals against a weak Wimbledon team.
