Since BlueCo's arrival as shareholders at Chelsea, the squad has drastically got younger, as have the players recruited in the transfer market. The English club have a plan with two Ligue 1 gems.
At 23.3 years old, the average age at Chelsea is by far the lowest in the Premier League, with Tottenham far behind at 24.7 years. This is notably explained by the players recruited by the Blues in the transfer market, who are generally very young. A strategy that is clearly not about to stop as the English club continue to sound out the market, looking for high-potential players, notably in Ligue 1.
According to information from Caught Offside, Chelsea remain interested in Ayyoub Bouaddi (18 years old) but also in Brian Madjo (16 years old), a young FC Metz striker who has just made his professional debut this season. The Blues even have a plan for the Lille midfielder, to allow him to continue his progression and facilitate his integration into the Premier League.

Chelsea's plan with Bouaddi
Chelsea would reportedly be considering recruiting Ayyoub Bouaddi and sending him immediately on loan to Strasbourg, as has been the case with Mathis Amougou and Mamadou Sarr. This will allow the young 18-year-old midfielder to continue gaining experience at an ambitious club before taking a step up with the Blues. However, at present, no offer has been made to LOSC for the French prospect (seven caps, one goal).
Moreover, Ayyoub Bouaddi is a highly coveted player by the biggest European heavyweights and recently, PSG Inside Actus claimed that he would see himself wearing the Paris club's shirt. If Chelsea's interest is concrete, securing the Dogues' maestro's services will be an exhausting operation. The Brian Madjo case seems more achievable, the striker has only played four matches with Metz and the 16-year-old young forward, an international with England Under-17s, really appeals to Chelsea.
