Brentford new signings: Confirmed ins and outs for January 2026

Thomas Frank’s run in charge of Brentford came to an end after a 10th-place finish last campaign, with the Danish gaffer moving on to fellow London-based Premier League side Tottenham, although he has since been sacked.

The Bees decided to appoint Keith Andrews as their new head coach, and there were a number of other new faces that arrived at the club as summer 2025 deals got underway at the Gtech Community Stadium. With the summer transfer window completed, Brentford turned their attention to January transfer targets, with their business highlighted below.

Brentford new signings January 2026

Kaye Furo (Club Brugge)

Brentford signed Kaye Furo from Club Brugge for a reported £9m including add-ons. The 18-year-old forward signed a five-and-a-half-year deal.

Furo signing grade: B

Furo is a promising talent who already scored and assisted in the Champions League this season. Although he has fierce competition up front from the likes of Igor Thiago, he is certainly a player that could break into the first team in the future.

Brentford transfer window rating: Grade B

Brentford made a solid addition in Furo, and did not lose anyone key of note. That is in contrast to last summer, so the Bees have done well to keep hold of a strong core of players aiming to push them into an unlikely European spot come the end of the season.
