Bradley Barcola next club odds: Liverpool closing in on PSG winger

Bradley Barcola's future at Paris Saint-Germain looks increasingly uncertain, with Liverpool emerging as overwhelming favourites to complete one of the biggest transfers of the summer. 

The France international has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield for weeks, with reports suggesting that personal terms have already been agreed as Liverpool look to reshape their attack following Mohamed Salah's departure.

With PSG holding out for a fee that could make Barcola one of the most expensive players in football history, this is a transfer saga that could run right up until the window closes.

Where will Barcola end up this summer?

Liverpool have been strong favourites to sign Barcola for much of the summer, and their position at the top of the market has strengthened further in recent weeks, with the Reds now priced at 1/5 to complete the deal.

New head coach Andoni Iraola, who arrived at Anfield after leading Bournemouth to their first-ever European qualification, has reportedly identified Barcola as one of his leading targets ahead of his first season in charge.

Reports from late July also claimed that the 23-year-old had given the move his blessing, although the biggest obstacle remains the fee, with PSG reportedly valuing their winger at around £145m. Liverpool are said to have no intention of meeting that valuation, leaving the two clubs some way apart despite Barcola's reported preference for a move to Anfield.

PSG retaining Barcola's services is priced at 3/1, reflecting the possibility that the French champions could simply refuse to lower their asking price and keep hold of a player who scored 13 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions last season. 

Barcola only joined PSG from Lyon in 2023, and the club have little reason to accept a cut-price offer for a player who remains under contract and has continued to establish himself at the Parc des Princes.

Arsenal are next in the betting at 13/2, making them the leading Premier League alternative to Liverpool as Mikel Arteta's side continue to look for additional attacking options. Barcola's directness on the left would give Arsenal another attacking outlet, although the odds suggest they remain some distance behind Liverpool in the race for his signature.

Real Madrid are the leading outsider at 12/1, while Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Chelsea are all priced at 9/1 to sign the Frenchman. Bayern's interest is understood to have cooled after strengthening their attacking options elsewhere, while Barcelona and Chelsea appear to be contingency options rather than serious contenders at this stage.

For now, this remains Liverpool's deal to lose, with the player's reported preference and personal terms potentially giving the Reds an advantage as negotiations over the transfer fee continue.
