Player to Watch: Sammie Szmodics

This meeting will feature two of the best strikers in the Championship this season, Blackburn's Sammie Szmodics versus Adam Armstrong of Southampton. Szmodics, however, is at the very top of the scoring charts with 23 goals and if not for his goalscoring prowess, Blackburn would have little chance of surviving the season.

The 28-year-old has featured in almost every match this season with most as a starter. He has carried himself as the best player on the pitch for much of the campaign. Szmodics is in his second season at Blackburn after joining the club from Peterborough.
