Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid remains uncertain. After losing his place in the Spanish squad, the Brazilian forward may be set to leave the club now managed by Xabi Alonso, with several top clubs keen to secure his services.
Rodrygo has often faced questions over his playing time at Real Madrid, and the arrival of Alonso has seen him fall further down the pecking order. Real’s attacking trio of Mbappé, Vinícius Jr, and Bellingham lead the line, supported by young talents Endrick and Gonzalo García, alongside the recent signing of Argentine prospect Franco Mastantuono.
With so much competition and needing more minutes to maintain his spot in the Brazil national team, Rodrygo has become one of the hottest names in the current transfer market. On Thursday (7 August), Spanish outlet Marca highlighted a host of major clubs interested in the forward.
Premier League sides Tottenham, Liverpool, and Chelsea are among the frontrunners, while Bayern Munich have also emerged as a potential suitor — but the list does not end there.

Arsenal Consider Loan Move for Rodrygo
More recently, reports suggest Arsenal could be the next destination. According to The Times, the Gunners are eyeing a loan deal for Rodrygo. He would be their Plan B, with priority given to signing Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace. However, with negotiations proving complex and coach Oliver Glasner relying on Rodrygo, Arsenal are preparing to focus their efforts on the Brazilian.
Arsenal had previously shown interest, but that cooled following the arrival of young winger Madueke. Still, Mikel Arteta remains unsatisfied with his attacking options.
PSG Also Eyeing Rodrygo as Barcola Replacement
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain, current holders of the Champions League, have also expressed recent interest. Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports PSG see Rodrygo as a potential replacement for Bradley Barcola, who is considering a move to Liverpool. PSG’s preference is to keep Barcola, but they are ready to pursue Rodrygo if a sale occurs.
Real Madrid are currently reviewing offers but have set a high asking price, unwilling to let Rodrygo go for less than €70 million (£59m).
