BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals betting – games in focus

PSV Eindhoven vs Borussia Dortmund

Two teams who have been involved in a combined 151 goals in 44 league games this season meet on Tuesday, as PSV Eindhoven welcomes Borussia Dortmund to the Netherlands for the first leg of their round of 16 battle.

Stunningly, PSV have still not lost a single game in the Eredivisie with a ridiculous record of 70 goals scored and 10 let in, which now means no team in across Europe’s top divisions has netted more on the domestic front.

They also scored eight in Group B of the Champions League, and with 10 let in, it shows that their defensive excellence in the Netherlands doesn't quite spill onto the continental front.

Dortmund are also involved in goals, year in, year out, and this campaign sees them with 44 scored and 27 let in during their 22 Bundesliga games, while they stunned this season’s ‘group of death’ by beating Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle United and AC Milan to top spot.

Odds for BTTS and over 2.5 goals in this game come in at 5/6 (1.83).

Porto vs Arsenal

For the fourth time in the past five games in the last month, Arsenal scored three or more goals in a game. This has seen them bag three against Liverpool, two against Nottingham Forest, five away to Burnley and six away to West Ham United. Simply put, they are the top scorers amongst Europe's top five leagues within the past month.

Porto have also managed to net 37 and let in 16 in their Liga Portugal title quest, and they managefd to outscore Barcelone in Gorup H by three goals and finished behind them only on the head-to-head record. Arsenal also had the best goals difference record across all of the Champions League in the groups, bagging 16 times.

Odds for BTTS and over 2.5 goals now sit at 6/4 (2.5).

Porto vs Arsenal prediction

Napoli vs Barcelona

The champions of Italy meet with the champions of Spain in what is no doubt the most eye-catching of the four games across the next two days. However, both sides have barely put up a fight in their title defences, meaning this Champions League quest is pretty much all these two have to play for this campaign.

Stunningly, despite breaking records and running through all of Italy last campaign, Napoli are down in eighth after failing to win again last weekend.

This still sees them with 33 goals scored and 28 let in during Serie A, while they were involved in 19 goals in their Champions League group stage campaign, which included a 4-2 loss away to Real Madrid and a 3-2 defeat to Los Blancos in Naples.

With 11 goals already across two games against Spanish opposition, Napoli will also be aware of the fact that Barcelona have now let in a stunning 34 goals in just 25 games after letting in only 20 across the whole La Liga triumph last time out.

You can now get odds of 10/11 (1.91) for BTTS and over 2.5 goals in Naples on Wednesday.
