Newcastle bid for Ekitike
In recent weeks, Newcastle United have stepped up their efforts to strengthen Eddie Howe's attack. Having already signed Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest, they are now working on signing Hugo Ekitike.
According to The Athletic, the Magpies are in talks to sign the Eintracht Frankfurt striker in a deal worth around £65million. The transfer would eclipse Newcastle’s previous record transfer – the £61million they paid Real Sociedad for Alexander Isak in 2022. Interestingly, the Geordies want to play Ekitike alongside Isak. Arsenal set to push for Eze
Arsenal have already reached an agreement in principle to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP. After a new striker, sporting director Andrea Berta wants to address the side's flanks.
As per Talksport, Arsenal are set to approach Crystal Palace to discuss whether they can do a deal for Eberechi Eze without triggering his £68million release clause. Benfica in talks to sign Felix
