Hot on the heels of their two January meetings, Atletico Madrid travel to the Bernabeu this Sunday hoping to win their first match at the home of their great rivals since February 2016.
Real, on the other hand, will be looking to reassert their dominance over their old city rivals, having lost to them twice already this season.
Real vs Atletico bet builder combos: our picks

Vinicius Junior to score first and Real Madrid to win 1-0 – 99/2
Real are in something of a transitional year. Karim Benzema left the club after over a decade of service, but the club have not signed a permanent replacement, as they hope to finally bring Kylian Mbappe to the Bernabeu. One of the players who has helped fill the attacking void is Vinicius Junior.
The 23-year-old Brazilian has scored 11 in 18 appearances this season, and will be determined to make a splash in this fixture, having missed the reverse fixture through injury. Los Blancos have also kept four clean sheets in their last six home games against Atleti, so this could prove to be a wise wager.

Alvaro Morata to score first and Atletico to win 2-1 – 120/1
When Atletico last won at the Bernabeu eight years ago, Alvaro Morata was a Real Madrid player, albeit one out on loan at Juventus.
Despite consistent doubts about his abilities, the 31-year-old has had an excellent career and has scored 19 goals already this season, three of which have come against his old club.
Though their last win may have been 1-0, Atleti have only managed one clean sheet away to Real since, and have conceded 12 goals, so to win, they will likely need to score more than once.

Jude Bellingham to score last and Real Madrid to win 2-1 – 221/4
Although Real Madrid’s recruitment has moved away from signing ‘Galacticos’ as they did in the 2000s, Jude Bellingham has very much made himself one, in just six months at the club.
‘Belligol’ has scored 18 goals already for Los Blancos, and has developed a penchant for late goals. The Englishman has scored the final goal eight times this season.
Although, as mentioned earlier, Real have largely been able to keep Atleti at bay, Atleti are a far stronger attacking force this season than they have been in previous years, and have already scored 10 in three games against Los Merengues this campaign. To win, Real will likely need to score more than once.

Antoine Griezmann to score 2 or more goals and Atletico to win from behind – 460/1
For our longest odds, we are backing Antoine Griezmann to stun the Bernabeu with a brace. The France international was the sole scorer the last time Atleti won away to their neighbours and, like Morata, has already scored three against Real, including his stunning goal to put his side 3-2 up in the Copa del Rey just over two weeks ago.
Atletico Madrid have long been known for their imperious defensive record, but have been a little more permeable this season, as shown by their rivals eight goals in their three other meetings this season.
Real will be desperate to set things right, so may go ahead. But do not bet against Griezmann providing yet more magic and turning this game on its head.
